Meet Our Veterinarians
Dr. Fitz, DVM
“Dr. Fitz” graduated from Ross University Veterinary School in 2003 and enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially surgery.
When she’s not at the clinic (which is rare!), Dr. Fitz enjoys spending time with her family and playing guitar. She shares her home with 4 dogs, 5 cats, a rabbit, and several birds!
Dr. Stephanie Dueweke, DVM
Stephanie Dueweke is a small animal veterinarian and works part time at Bayside Animal Clinic. Stephainie grew up in Algonac, MI and graduated from Central Michigan in 2008 and Michigan State College of Veterinarian Medicine in 2012.
Stephanie has a domestic short-haired cat named Loki and loves being outside gardening and walking.
Dee-Dee
Dee-Dee is a Macomb Community College graduate, attented Michigan State University, and has over 20 years of experiencie in the veterinary field. She is also a passionate advocate for animals, especially rescue pets.
Dee-Dee shares her home with Opie and Flash, two rescued terrier mixes.
Jessica
Jessica is a licensed veterinary technician and a 2011 graduate of Macomb Community College. Growing up on a farm, she developed a real love for all animals and currently shares her home with two cats named Murphy and Bug.
Destiny
This is for Destiny. She graduated Macomb Community College, Veterinary Technician Program in May 2022.

Dr. Fitz’s Bayside Animal Clinic provides pet wellness care, pet dental care, pet vaccinations, in-house pet diagnostics and laboratory testing, daytime pet urgent care, and more for cats and dogs in New Baltimore, Clay Township, Anchorville, Fair Haven, Anchor Bay Harbor, Harrison Township, Mt. Clemens, Harsens Island, and the surrounding areas.
